1. Agreement and Eligibility
These Peer Referral Program Terms (“Program Terms”) govern your participation in the Rising Seer peer referral program (the “Program”). They supplement the Rising Seer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If these Program Terms conflict with the Terms of Service about the Program’s enrollment, rewards, or enforcement, these Program Terms control only for that conflict.
You must be at least 18 years old, have a Rising Seer account in good standing, be able to form a binding contract, and provide accurate application, identity, tax, and payout information. Participation is not available where prohibited by law.
Applying does not guarantee approval. Rising Seer reviews each application and may approve or decline it based on program fit, safety, legal, fraud, brand, or operational considerations.
2. Application, Approval, and Activation
Your application must include your name, email address, proposed referral code, and an honest explanation of where and how you plan to share Rising Seer.
Joining the Rising Seer Discord is the standard application and program-communication path. You must use it to complete the ordinary application process, receive program updates, and respond to reasonable questions from Rising Seer. If you genuinely cannot use Discord, you may contact support to request a case-by-case exception, but Rising Seer does not guarantee an alternate process.
Cash eligibility requires successful Stripe Connect onboarding, including any identity, business, tax, bank-account, sanctions, and other verification Stripe requires for your actual country and account configuration. Stripe’s current general country availability is published at stripe.com/global; availability on that page does not guarantee that every Connect configuration or capability is available to you. Successful completion of the onboarding flow provided for your account is controlling.
Your code is not active until all of these conditions are complete:
- Rising Seer has approved your application; and
- your required Discord participation is confirmed, or Rising Seer has approved a case-by-case communication exception; and
- Stripe Connect onboarding is complete and your account can receive payouts.
No referral, trial, purchase, reward, credit, or earning window accrues before activation. An approval notice sent before Connect completion does not activate the code.
3. Referral-Code Rules
You propose your code in the application. Codes must be 4–20 uppercase letters or numbers, unique, readable, and free of impersonation, profanity, misleading claims, third-party trademarks, and words Rising Seer reserves.
Rising Seer approves the final code. Once activated, the code is immutable. You may not sell, transfer, sublicense, share control of, or create confusing variants of it. Rising Seer may deactivate a code under Sections 11–12, but deactivation does not create a right to a replacement code.
An activated peer code receives the permanent share URL https://4see.rs/CODE. The URL automatically carries your payable peer code. You do not need to configure a website, tracking provider, or separate link for each person you refer.
4. Referred Users and the 100-Day Earning Window
An “Eligible Referral Activation” occurs when Rising Seer’s authoritative purchase records confirm that a genuine new user did either of the following using your active code:
- activated an eligible trial; or
- completed an eligible direct purchase, including a monthly subscription charge, an annual subscription purchase, or an Eligible IAP. A direct purchase may also qualify when the new user validly claims your active code through a Rising Seer post-purchase referral process.
The first confirmed Eligible Referral Activation creates the referred-user relationship, and each user may create only one such relationship. A trial activation earns $0 by itself. A direct purchase is the first eligible purchase in the relationship and earns its purchase-type reward. When a post-purchase claim qualifies, the original confirmed purchase timestamp — not the later claim timestamp — is the activation timestamp.
The “Earning Window” begins at the confirmed Eligible Referral Activation timestamp and ends exactly 100 days later. A purchase is inside the window when its confirmed purchase-event timestamp is on or after the activation timestamp and before the timestamp 100 days later.
Every actual eligible purchase inside the Earning Window is evaluated by purchase type, including:
- monthly subscription charges and renewals;
- annual subscription purchases;
- eligible in-app purchases (“Eligible IAPs”);
- paid upgrade or downgrade events; and
- purchases after a lapse and resubscription.
Changing a plan, resubscribing, or later starting a trial does not restart or extend the original 100-day window. Events outside the window do not earn rewards.
5. Net Revenue and Cash Rewards
“Net Revenue” means the proceeds Rising Seer actually retains from an eligible purchase after the app store’s or payment provider’s fees, payment-processing fees, taxes collected and remitted, discounts or amounts never collected, and applicable refunds or reversals. The corresponding platform settlement statement and Rising Seer’s reward ledger control the amount. If proceeds settle in a different currency from your payout currency, the processor’s cleared settlement amount and conversion control.
Cash rewards are calculated separately for each eligible purchase:
| Eligible purchase | Cash rate | Formula |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly subscription charge | 20% | Net Revenue × 0.20 |
| Eligible IAP | 15% | Net Revenue × 0.15 |
| Annual subscription purchase | 10% | Net Revenue × 0.10 |
Cash does not use the customer’s listed price as its reward base. The ledger uses the actual proceeds reported for each purchase; it does not hardcode an 85% or 70% proceeds assumption. The examples below use Rising Seer’s actual $24.99 monthly MSRP and isolate the store fee so the basis is explicit. Other taxes, refunds, currency conversions, and adjustments still use the actual settled amounts.
6. Cash or Rising Seer Credit
You choose one settlement method for your entire referral account:
- Cash: the cash reward calculated under Section 5; or
- Rising Seer Credit: dollar-denominated program credit calculated from the eligible purchase’s listed price (MSRP), using 50% for a monthly subscription charge, 37.5% for an Eligible IAP, and 25% for an annual subscription purchase.
The credit percentages start at 2.5 times the corresponding cash rates. Because cash is calculated from Net Revenue after store and payment fees while credit is calculated from MSRP, credit is worth more than 2.5 times the comparable cash payout whenever Net Revenue is lower than MSRP.
Illustrative monthly examples, rounded to the nearest cent:
| Store proceeds basis | MSRP | Net Revenue | Cash at 20% | Credit at 50% of MSRP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Current 85% proceeds (15% store fee) | $24.99 | $21.24 | $4.25 | $12.50 |
| Future 70% proceeds (30% store fee) | $24.99 | $17.49 | $3.50 | $12.50 |
The cash result changes when the platform’s retained share changes. The credit result does not, because its calculation remains anchored to MSRP.
The election applies account-wide, not event by event. A valid settlement choice must be on file before rewards can be settled. You may request a switch, but it applies only to the next complete monthly settlement cycle. It does not change events already settled, and you may not switch repeatedly within the same cycle.
Once an event is settled as cash or credit, that settlement is final and cannot be converted to the other method.
7. Credit Catalog and Banking
Rising Seer Credit is a closed-loop program credit. It:
- has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash;
- cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, gifted, or combined across accounts;
- is nonrefundable after settlement or redemption; and
- remains banked without expiration while your Rising Seer account remains in good standing, subject to Sections 11–12.
Credit is banked as a dollar-denominated Rising Seer balance. It may be redeemed against eligible Rising Seer subscriptions and in-app purchases at their normal MSRP. At the rates in these Program Terms, two standard eligible monthly charges earn credit equal to one month at the same MSRP, and four standard eligible annual purchases earn credit equal to one year at the same MSRP. The monthly report shows your banked balance and current eligible-product prices so partial progress remains visible.
Redemption fulfills the selected Rising Seer subscription or in-app product directly to your account. It is not an Apple App Store or Google Play purchase, refund, offer code, or cash transaction.
8. Reporting, Clearance, and Settlement
Rising Seer prepares an authoritative monthly report showing, as applicable:
- eligible trials and their $0 activation entries;
- paid conversions and purchase types;
- MSRP, Net Revenue, applicable rates, and reward calculations;
- refunds and negative adjustments;
- pending and cleared rewards;
- your settlement election;
- cash payouts; and
- credit awards, balances, and redemptions.
A purchase remains pending until the corresponding platform proceeds clear. A cleared reward is included in the first monthly settlement cycle after clearance. Cash settlement is made through Stripe Connect and remains subject to Stripe’s payout schedule, account status, and verification requirements. Credit settlement is posted to the Rising Seer ledger for your account.
Cleared cash is paid automatically in a monthly settlement cycle once your total cleared cash balance reaches $10 USD or its equivalent. A smaller balance rolls forward without expiring while your account remains in good standing. After an Ordinary Closure of the Program or your account, Rising Seer makes one final payout of any legitimate cleared cash balance even when it is below $10. Fraud-linked or legally withheld balances remain subject to Sections 11–13.
You must report a suspected statement error to support@risingseer.com within 60 days after the report is made available. The parties will use the underlying platform statement, reward ledger, and versioned Program Terms to investigate.
9. Refunds and Negative Adjustments
A refund, charge reversal, or similar adjustment reduces the Net Revenue for the affected cash reward and cancels or adjusts unsettled credit derived from that purchase. Rising Seer records the reduction against unpaid rewards first and then against future rewards if necessary.
Rising Seer will not demand repayment or reclaim cash or credit already settled for a legitimate reward. If a negative adjustment remains after your participation ends, it does not become a personal debt unless the underlying event involved fraud or unlawful conduct and applicable law provides a separate remedy.
10. Promotion Rules
You must follow the current Creator Promotion Guidelines version you accepted with these Program Terms. The Guidelines are incorporated into these Program Terms by reference.
Whenever you recommend or promote Rising Seer, clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may earn cash or Rising Seer Credit when people use your code. Put the disclosure with the endorsement where people will see and understand it; a code by itself or a disclosure hidden in a profile, hashtag block, or “more” expansion is not enough.
You must be truthful, speak from genuine experience, respect privacy, use only current approved claims and assets, and comply with applicable law and platform rules.
You may not use:
- self-referrals, fake accounts, trial cycling, bots, or manufactured purchases;
- spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, scraped contact lists, or harassment;
- coupon, discount-code, cashback, or deal-aggregation sites;
- deceptive incentives, fake reviews, impersonation, or misleading claims;
- paid ads, paid search, boosted posts, or other paid promotion without Rising Seer’s prior written authorization; or
- another person’s private conversation, chart, account, identity, or content without their informed permission.
Genuine different household members may participate as separate users. A household relationship alone is not a self-referral, but each person must control their own genuine account and purchase.
11. Investigation, Holds, and Violations
Rising Seer may investigate suspected fraud, unsafe promotion, inaccurate information, policy violations, or unusual reward activity. During a reasonable investigation, Rising Seer may pause code activation, deactivate the code, or hold the disputed unpaid rewards.
Where practical, Rising Seer may request correction or removal of noncompliant promotion. Confirmed fraud forfeits only fraud-linked pending or future rewards. A material brand, policy, or legal violation may deactivate your code and stop future earnings. Previously settled legitimate rewards remain intact.
Violating the Creator Promotion Guidelines is a violation of these Program Terms and may lead to correction, removal, suspension, deactivation, or termination depending on the severity and recurrence.
12. Program Closure and Termination
You may stop promoting at any time. Rising Seer may close the Program generally or end your participation without cause by notice (“Ordinary Closure”). After Ordinary Closure:
- no new referred users or Earning Windows may begin; and
- Earning Windows that opened before the effective closure time remain open through their original 100-day end time, with eligible purchases reported and settled normally.
Any legitimate cleared cash remaining after those windows and adjustments receives a final payout even when the balance is below the ordinary $10 threshold.
Rising Seer may terminate participation for fraud, material misrepresentation, unlawful conduct, or a material or repeated violation of these Program Terms or the Creator Promotion Guidelines (“Termination for Cause”). Termination for Cause stops new earnings at the effective termination timestamp. Legitimate rewards earned before that timestamp remain payable, subject to ordinary clearance and refund adjustments; fraud-linked rewards may be forfeited. Previously settled legitimate rewards are never reclaimed.
Deleting your Rising Seer account ends participation and prevents future credit redemption. Banked credit cannot be transferred to another account. Any legitimate cleared cash balance receives a final payout even when it is below the ordinary $10 threshold, subject to Stripe verification and Sections 11–13.
Sections concerning settled events, refunds, records, taxes, privacy, disputes, and enforcement survive closure or termination as needed to carry them out.
13. Taxes, Stripe, and Your Relationship to Rising Seer
You are responsible for determining and paying taxes arising from your rewards. Rising Seer and Stripe may collect tax information, issue required tax forms, report payments, or withhold amounts when required by law. You must keep your legal, tax, and payout information accurate.
Payment services are provided through Stripe and may be subject to the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement, Stripe Services Agreement, and Stripe Privacy Policy, each as Stripe updates it. You authorize Rising Seer and Stripe to exchange the identity, tax, payout, and transaction information needed to onboard you, prevent fraud, provide payouts, and meet legal duties. The exact Stripe service agreement required for the Program must be confirmed during the approved Connect implementation and shown in its onboarding flow.
You participate independently. These Program Terms do not create employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, exclusivity, or authority to bind or speak for Rising Seer. You control whether, when, and how to promote, subject to these Program Terms, the Creator Promotion Guidelines, applicable law, and platform rules.
14. Privacy and Records
Rising Seer processes application, account, referral, reward, and support information as described in its Privacy Policy. Stripe separately processes Connect identity, verification, tax, bank, and payout information under its privacy policy and service agreement.
Rising Seer’s records of code activation, referral activation, purchase events, platform proceeds, refunds, accepted terms versions, and settlements govern the Program unless you show a clear error. We may retain those records as needed for tax, accounting, fraud, contract, and legal compliance after your participation ends.
15. Versions and Program Changes
Each published Program Terms page must display a version and effective date. Your application acceptance must record both the Program Terms version and Creator Promotion Guidelines version you accepted, together with a server-generated timestamp. A boolean checkbox without those versions is not a complete acceptance record.
Rising Seer may modify the Program, rates, catalog, eligibility, or these Program Terms prospectively. For a material change, we will provide reasonable notice and require you to accept the new version before activating new referrals under it.
Unless a change is required by law or addresses fraud or abuse, the economic version in effect when an Eligible Referral Activation occurs continues to govern that user’s existing 100-day Earning Window. A later version does not retroactively reduce a settled legitimate reward.
If you do not accept a required new version, your code may stop accepting new referrals; existing Earning Windows continue under the preceding paragraph.
16. Disputes and General Terms
Contact support@risingseer.com first with a Program question or dispute. The governing-law, informal-resolution, binding-arbitration, class-action-waiver, opt-out, and venue provisions in Sections 17–18 of the Rising Seer Terms of Service apply to these Program Terms to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity in the Terms of Service also apply to the Program. Nothing in these Program Terms limits a right that applicable law does not permit Rising Seer to limit.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be narrowed or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. Rising Seer’s failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver. You may not assign your participation or rights; Rising Seer may assign these Program Terms as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Program or business.
These Program Terms, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and accepted Creator Promotion Guidelines are the entire agreement governing your peer referral participation.
